Key questions for discussion:

Policy Involvement and Collaboration
  1. How can member states develop a unified regional space policy for shared goals?

  2. What legal frameworks are required to ensure fair access to space resources?

  3. Should there be a regional space agency similar to ESA (European Space Agency)?

Opportunities for Youth Engagement
  1. How can youth be motivated to pursue careers in the space sector?

  2. What initiatives can countries introduce to boost STEM education and skill development?

  3. Should there be regional internships, exchange programs, and scholarships for space science?

Market Innovation and Job Opportunities

Global Positioning and Competitiveness
  1. How can the region work together to compete with established global players like the USA and EU?

  2. What steps should be taken to make South Asia-Pacific a leader in satellite manufacturing and launch services?

3. Chair Monitoring and Interventions:

  • Ensure countries stay on-topic and offer constructive input.

  • Intervene if discussions become repetitive or overly focused on conflicts.

  • Pose critical questions if debates stagnate, such as:

    • "How would your country ensure equitable sharing of space resources?"

    • "What measures will you adopt to ensure smaller nations aren't overshadowed by larger players?"

  3. Regional Space Agency Feasibility Study:

    • To explore the creation of a unified regional body for space research and development.

  4. Market Share Roadmap:

    • Identify opportunities for satellite launches, manufacturing, and exploration missions to dominate the global market by 2035.

Wrap-Up and Reporting:

  • Each country delivers a 2-minute summary of their contributions.
